The Yellow U21 team will play against Athletic in the Quarter-finals on Wednesday
This Wednesday the combined U21 team, made up of players from the Villarreal CF Reserve teams, will play in the Quarter-finals of the Premier League International Cup. The Yellows, who finished first in their group, will measure up against Athletic Club de Bilbao in a clash that will be played in Adams Park, the Wycombe Wanderers FC stadium, at 20:00 (CET).
The manager of the combined U21 team, Paco López, has chosen his 16 players for the match:
- Goalkeepers: Aitor Fernández and Ander Cantero.
- Defenders: Peris, Javi Ramírez, Pablo Íñiguez, Carlos Julio and Ramón Bueno.
- Midfielders: Anton Shvets, Ramiro, Aitor Cantalapiedra, Alfonso, Leo Suárez and Larrea.
- Strikers: Fran Sol, Carlos Martínez and Mario.
Trip itinerary
The Yellows travelled on Tuesday morning to England from Castellón airport, their destination London Stansted. Once on British soil, the Yellows will stay in the Heathrow Marriot hotel.
