Villarreal CF has suspended all sporting activity for at least the next two weeks
Villarreal CF has decided to suspend all sporting activity for the first team and the rest of the youth sides for at least the next two weeks. The club, taking into account the current state of alarm in Spain, is determined to continue the health recommendations of the Spanish government with regards to COVID-19.
The club has developed a personal plan for first-team players, supervised by fitness coach José Romero, with the aim of them being able to continue exercising at home during this period.
Villarreal CF profoundly laments the current situation, and asks its fans to act in a responsible way, following recommendations indicated by the Health Ministry to try and stop the spread of COVID-19.
