The Yellows will host the ‘Application of Villarreal CF’s methodology in technical training’ university course
Villarreal CF and the Jaume I University (UJI) have launched the ‘University Micro-credential in Technical Training’ course, organised by the UJI as part of the programme of its own studies offered by the Faculty of Sports Training and directed by Carlos Hernando, faculty director.
The aim of this micro-credential is to train future professionals in the technical aspects of football from the methodological perspective of Villarreal CF. This training, given by staff from the Yellow Submarine, aims to provide professional methodological resources in football from the philosophy of the Yellow Submarine.
The training, which will be given in person, will take place on Tuesdays 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th February 2025. The micro-credential will be held from 9am to 2pm at the Jaume I University and from 3:30pm to 7pm at the Villarreal CF facilities.
The university micro-credential, which is equivalent to two ECTS credits, is priced at €495. The course is limited to a maximum of 20 participants.
The training will develop the contents in three main blocks: a common and transversal block to training, a specific block of training methodologies applied to different facets of football and a third and final block of practices and analysis.
