A historic day. This morning, the inauguration of the ‘Yellows Walk of Fame’ (Passeig Groc) on the outside of the Tribuna Stand at the Estadio de la Cerámica. An area reserved for Villarreal CF’s most emblematic players, which will pay tribute to their time at the club. The first footballers to be recognised are Bruno Soriano and Santi Cazorla.

The event was headed by Villarreal CF president Fernando Roig, and was also attended by Bruno himself, as well as Vila-real mayor José Benlloch. Cazorla was unable to attend for professional reasons. The president of the Official Villarreal CF Supporters’ Group (Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF), Javi Pérez, was also in attendance.

The most representative images of both Bruno Soriano and Santi Cazorla are now on the outside of the Tribuna Stand at the Yellows’ stadium, printed specially on tiles. A lovely gesture.
