Salma is already scoring goals for Villarreal Women and Lorenzo competes with Villarreal CF U13s

The Paralluelo family has burst into the Yellows Academy. The siblings Salma and Lorenzo arrived at the Villarreal CF setup this season and they have already earned the trust and affection of all their teammates. Salma is best known for being an elite athlete at Playas de Castellón and World and European football champion with Spain U17s.

Lorenzo is 12 years old and follows in the footsteps of his sister in the world of football. This season he plays for the U13s, showing himself as a powerful player who usually plays on the right wing. On the contrary, Salma, who has only just turned 16, is left-footed. The athlete from Zaragoza is one of the attacking players for Villarreal Women and has already scored several goals dressed in yellow.

In the family it is also worth mentioning José Jaime, the oldest of the brothers. Currently, ‘Jota’ plays for the B team for Roda, official Villarreal CF affiliate club.

The relationship between the three siblings has always been driven by sport. “The three of us are very athletic and we play football. As children we always played together in the park”, says Salma.

Of course, in terms of athleticism, the female Paralluelo always stood out. “If we had a race, my sister would win, but playing football I think I would”, jokes young Lorenzo.

The affection between them is noticeable. “My sister is great, she’s fun and very active”, Lorenzo admits. Salma emphasises the discipline that her younger brother shows: “Lorenzo is very responsable and mature for his age. I would say that he is also very loyal. I get on well with him and we have a good time”.

Their relationship is magnificent, so much so that Salma can’t over hype up her brother. “My sister doesn’t often come to watch me play, but I understand that because she has little free time. I will always encourage her”. the youngster assures. The athlete and footballer takes some of the blame, although defends herself: “For sure, I don’t go and support him enough, but I will always do what I can because I like seeing him play”.

The way that the Pralluelo’s have settled into the city and to the club has been incredible. “We live in Vila-real and our adaptation has been great for the whole family. Personally, the team has welcomed me with open arms and I am really motivated to do well this season”, Salma concludes. A family that has something special.

How much do the Paralluelo siblings know about each other? Salma and Lorenzo have created a fun “test” with a very special special punishment. The two youth players answer three questions about one another and the one who guesses the least correct answers will have to agree to a punishment set by the other.
