The Vila-real born defender will represent Spain at Tokyo 2020

Pau Torres has been called up by national team manager Luis De la Fuente to form part of the 22-man Spain squad to play at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. The Vila-real born defender is one of six footballers who will play two championships this summer (Euro 2020 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games) together with Unai Simón, Èric García, Pedri, Dani Olmo and Mikel Oyarzabal.

The Yellows centre-back is the second Villarreal CF player to be called up to play at the Olympics after Andrei Ratiu’s recent call-up for Romania.
