The Qatari striker will play for the Belgian side for the 2017/18 season
Villarreal CF and KAS Eupen have come to an agreement for Qatari striker Akram Afif, who will play on loan for the Belgian side for the 2017/18 season. The striker returns to the club where he won promotion to the Jupiler League. The agreement between both clubs does not involve an option to buy the player at the end of the campaign.
Formed in the ranks of the Aspire Academy, he moved to Al Sadd in 2013 and in 2014 was loaned for two seasons to KAS Eupen in the Belgium second division (Proximus League) during his last season at this club he scored six goals, helping the team to win promotion to the Jupiler League, the Belgian top flight. During the 2016-2017 season, Akram played on loan at Real Sporting de Gijón.
