Villarreal CF and Manchester United have reached a transfer agreement for Willy Kambwala, who will wear the yellow shirt for the next five seasons, until June 2029.
Willy Kambwala will be officially presented as a new Villarreal player in the next few days. The club will provide more details about the presentation ceremony, which will be exclusively open to the media, at a later date.
Physical ability and projection for the Yellows backline
Willy Kambwala Ndengushi (Kinshasa, 25/08/2004) is a promising right-sided central defender who is only 19 years old. The French-Congolese player stands out for his physical strength, his superb ability to win duels and his excellent aerial play.
A product of Manchester United’s youth academy, where he joined from FC Sochaux, Kambwala has made a total of ten appearances for the Red Devils in the 2023/24 season. Eight of those were in the Premier League.
With his arrival at the Submarine, Marcelino’s side are bolstering their backline with muscle, talent and a lot of projection.
