The Senegalese midfielder extends his stay with the Yellows until June 2030

Villarreal CF and Alassane Diatta have reached an agreement to renew the Senegalese midfielder’s contract. The Villarreal B player, whose deal with the Submarine ran until 2027, has now extended his contract by three more seasons, until June 2030.

Alassane Diatta (Diouloulou, Senegal, 14/05/2005) is a Senegalese midfielder who plays for Villarreal B and stands out for his work rate on the pitch and his strong physical presence, as he stands at 1.90m tall. He has a good touch on the ball and notable quality with his left foot when it comes to distributing play.

So far this season, Diatta has played 14 matches and scored three goals in Primera Federación with the Mini Submarine. The African midfielder made his first-team debut last season in the Copa del Rey, starting in the Second Round tie against Pontevedra CF.
