Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Cristo Romero to play for Villarreal B in the 2024/25 season. The Andalucía-born defender joins Villarreal B on a free transfer after playing for CF Intercity last season.
Cristo Jesús Romero Gómez (Algeciras, 20/04/2000) is a left-back with a strong physical capacity and an excellent attacking output. He has accumulated experience in Primera RFEF and Segunda División, with 59 and 39 appearances in each respective league.
The new Yellows left-back rose through the ranks at Málaga CF before making his first-team debut for the club in Segunda División. In the 2021/22 season he went on loan to Real Sociedad B before moving to CF Intercity, his most recent club before his arrival at Villarreal B.
