The postponed match will take place on Wednesday 6th December at 9pm CET at the Estadio de la Cerámica
Villarreal will face Maccabi Haifa next Wednesday, 6th December, at 9pm at the Estadio de la Cerámica in the postponed match corresponding to Matchday 3 of the UEFA Europa League group stage.
The Spanish authorities have decided to take the following exceptional measures to ensure maximum security:
- The match will be played only with the presence of home season ticket holders. Visiting fans will not be allowed access to the Estadio de la Cerámica.
- There will be no ticket sales of any kind for the match. Access will be restricted to season ticket holders only.
- The away stand will be closed.
- Fans will only be able to access the stadium by showing their season ticket card and showing at the access control their ID card, driving licence, passport or any other document that can prove the identity of the season ticket holder who intends to enter the stadium.
Finally, the club is asking its season ticket holders to arrive at the Estadio de la Cerámica well in advance of the various security checks planned and to avoid possible queues at the entrance to the stadium.
