Filip Jörgensen has made 67 saves and is the most decisive goalkeeper in the league season

LALIGA’s top goalkeeper is Filip Jörgensen. The Yellows’ goalkeeper has made 67 saves in the first 14 rounds of the domestic championship, which translates into an impressive average of 4.8 saves per game. Fantastic records that place him 12 saves ahead of the second goalkeeper with the most saves in the LALIGA (Dmitrievski, 55).

Against Osasuna, he was one of the main men for the Submarine. Jörgensen supported the team in the first half with an impressive repertoire of saves. Marcelino himself acknowledged this in the post-match press conference: “In the first half we were too stiff and with a lot of doubts. At that moment, Filip kept us in the game with three great saves.”

During the course of the season, he has also put in other fantastic performances that have resulted in points for the Yellows, such as the 1-1 draw at Getafe and the 2-1 home win over Almería.

He is also one of the LALIGA goalkeepers who most often comes into contact with the ball and successfully delivers more passes to his teammates.
