
Dani Parejo brings his successful spell as a Yellow Submarine player to an end after six unforgettable seasons
Villarreal CF and Dani Parejo part ways after six seasons full of success. The Madrid-born midfielder brings to an end a brilliant sporting spell in which he left his mark and became a club legend after making 269 appearances and scoring a total of 16 goals in the Yellow shirt.
As a Villarreal player, he won the UEFA Europa League (2021), reached the Champions League semi-finals (2022) and secured qualification for Europe’s top competition on three occasions.
Villarreal CF will pay tribute to him in the final LALIGA match against Atlético de Madrid, which will also serve as the Champions League celebration with the fans at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

Dani Parejo is the ninth player with the most official appearances in Villarreal CF history and the fifth player with the most matches in the history of LALIGA. Since joining in 2020, the Madrid-born midfielder has been a key player for the Submarine, as well as for the different coaches who have managed the team in recent years.
