
The Canadian striker signs a five-year deal with the Yellows
Villarreal CF and Minnesota United have reached an agreement for the transfer of Tani Oluwaseyi, who will play as a Yellow for the next five seasons, until June 2030.
Tanitoluwa Oluwatimilehin Oluwaseyi (Abuja, Nigeria, 15/05/2000) is a forward who stands out for his physical power and pace to attack space. Versatile across the front line, he can play in different attacking positions. He also boasts strong aerial ability and notable link-up play, enabling him to create and provide assists frequently.
At 25 years old, he already has valuable experience in American football, where he has posted impressive numbers. In 50 MLS appearances with Minnesota United FC, he scored 18 goals and provided 13 assists.
Although born in Nigeria, Oluwaseyi represents Canada at international level. He has earned 15 caps for the Rouges, scoring two goals, and featured in the 2024 Copa América, where Canada participated as a guest nation.
