The right-back joins the Yellows on loan
Sergio Carreira has joined Villarreal B for the 2022/23 season on loan. Aged 21, the right-back came through the ranks at RC Celta, making his first-team debut against Atlético de Madrid in the top flight on 17th October 2020. The loan has a purchase option.
Miguel Álvarez’s side have brought in a player with LaLiga SmartBank experience, with Carreira playing 38 games for Mirandés in the second tier, scoring a goal and providing three assists.
