The Galician midfielder has extended his time with Villarreal CF for another season
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Santi Comesaña to renew his contract until 30th June 2028, meaning that the Galician midfielder, who was due to finish his contract with the club in 2027, has extended his time with the Yellows for one more season.
An essential player in midfield
The Galician midfielder began his career at Coruxo FC, later moving on to Rayo Vallecano, before joining Villarreal CF for the 2023/24 season. Since his arrival at the Yellow Submarine, Comesaña has played a total of 60 games (3,846 minutes) in which he has scored six goals and provided two assists. These figures, together with his commitment and intensity on the pitch, have made him a fan favourite.
To celebrate his renewal, the Galician footballer will visit this afternoon the penya Som la 12, together with Iker Álvarez (Villarreal B) and Lucía Romero (Villarreal Women).
