
The Hungarian goalkeeper arrives from RB Leipzig and signs for the next two seasons
Villarreal CF and RB Leipzig have reached an agreement for the transfer of Péter Gulácsi, who will be a Yellow Submarine goalkeeper for the next two seasons.
The Hungarian player will train under Iñigo Pérez for the first time tomorrow, Tuesday, and will then be officially presented as a new Yellow Submarine player at 12.00pm in an event exclusively for the media.
Péter Gulácsi (Budapest, 06/05/1990) is an experienced Hungarian goalkeeper with an extensive track record in European football.
Throughout his career, he has represented RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, Tranmere Rovers, Hereford United, Hull City and Liverpool FC. At the German club, where he established himself as an elite goalkeeper, Gulácsi made a total of 362 appearances during his eleven seasons there.
In addition, at international level, the Hungarian shot-stopper has earned 58 caps for the Hungary national team.
