
The Canadian midfielder, who arrives from RSC Anderlecht, has signed with Villarreal CF until 2031
Villarreal CF and RSC Anderlecht have reached a transfer agreement for Nathan Saliba, who will be a Yellow Submarine player for the next five seasons, until June 2031.
The Canadian footballer will train with his new teammates for the first time tomorrow, Wednesday, under the guidance of Iñigo Pérez. Following the training session, Saliba will be officially unveiled as a Yellow Submarine player at a media-only event in the press room of the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground.
Nathan-Dylan Saliba (7 February 2004, Longueuil, Canada) is a talented young midfielder with the ability to break opposition lines through his passing and make impactful runs from deep positions.
At club level, in Europe, he has represented RSC Anderlecht, where he made a total of 50 appearances and scored five goals, while in his home country he played for CF Montréal in MLS, making 78 appearances and scoring once.
At 22 years of age, Nathan Saliba already has considerable international experience. He has made 18 appearances and scored three goals for the Canada national team. With Les Rouges, he delivered an impressive performance during the recent 2026 FIFA World Cup.
