Medical tests have confirmed that Willy Kambwala has suffered a muscle tear in the hamstring of his left leg. The club’s medical staff are currently assessing the best possible treatment in consultation with specialist professionals.
It is worth noting that the French-Congolese defender picked up the injury during the friendly against Genoa on Thursday 31st July in Oviedo.
Logan Costa undergoes surgery on his left knee
Cape Verdean defender Logan Costa has undergone surgery today for a complete rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, an injury sustained during the first pre-season match against FC Basel on 19th July.
The operation was carried out by Dr. Manuel Leyes and Dr. Antonio Maestro at the Olympia Medical and Surgical Centre, under the supervision of the club’s medical staff.
