    The Argentine defender has undergone surgery on the rupture of his left Achilles tendon

    Villarreal CF player Juan Foyth underwent surgery this Monday on the rupture of his left Achilles tendon, which occurred during last Saturday’s league match against Real Madrid on 24th January.

    The operation, carried out by doctors Mikel Sánchez and Antonio Maestro, took place at MiKS Hospital in Vitoria, accompanied by and under the supervision of Villarreal CF’s Medical Services.

    The recovery time will depend on the player’s progress. The club sends him its full support and wishes him strength in his recovery. Always with you, Juan!
