The right-back from Murcia joins the B team from UD Ibiza
José David Menargues Manzanares (Murcia, 01/05/2002) is a new Villarreal B player. Coming from UD Ibiza, where he played this season in Primera RFEF, the defender from Murcia has signed for the Villarreal B team with a one-year contract until June 2025, plus an option for another year.
Joseda Menargues arrives at Villarreal to reinforce the right-back position in Miguel Álvarez’s squad. The right-back trained at Real Murcia and Valencia CF has been an international in at youth level for Spain
Menargues made his debut at the age of 16 for the U17s, where he made a total of 20 appearances and was a starter at the European Championship and the World Cup held in 2019. He also wore the colours of La Roja with the U18s on five occasions and scored a goal in a friendly against Slovakia.
