The Villarreal coach lamented the setback against the Parisians in the Champions League

Villarreal CF head coach Iñigo Pérez spoke to the media following his side’s heavy 0-6 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in Matchday 4 of the UEFA Champions League league phase at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

“We’re hurting and disappointed by the defeat. We started the game poorly. Conceding so many goals in such a short period of time was a huge blow,” admitted the Villarreal coach.

Finally, Pérez stressed the importance of responding positively in LALIGA against Getafe: “It’s clear that what we have this weekend is something we all need to overcome because that’s what ultimately solidifies any idea or project.”
