Juan Carlos Malabia and Marcos Senna, representatives of the club, were in charge of presenting Lara Mata with a commemorative shirt after reaching 125 games with Villarreal Women before retiring.
Lara Mata, who is hanging up her boots to practice medicine after passing the MIR for the second time, has played a total of 127 games wearing the yellow shirt. She also received a ceramic submarine in recognition of her five seasons of service to the club (2018-2023).
