The Andalusian midfielder will play for the Valencian side during the 2026/27 season

Villarreal CF and Levante UD have reached an agreement for the loan of midfielder Dani Requena, who will play for the Granota side during the 2026/27 season.

Requena came through the youth ranks at CF Sierra Nevada Cenes and Granada CF before joining Villarreal CF youth academy at the age of 12. He went on to stand out for several seasons with Villarreal B, competing in both LALIGA HYPERMOTION and Primera Federación.

His impressive performances for the Yellows’ B team earned him the opportunity to break into the first team, making his debut in the top flight under head coach Marcelino García Toral. He has also represented Spain at youth level.

Last season, he spent the campaign on loan at Córdoba CF.
