Villarreal CF and the Andalusian club have reached an agreement for the Madrid-born goalkeeper
Villarreal CF and Real Betis Balompié have reached an agreement for the loan of goalkeeper Diego Conde. The Madrid-born shot-stopper will therefore spend the 2026/27 season with the Andalusian side.
Before joining Villarreal CF, Conde enjoyed an outstanding 2023/24 campaign with CD Leganés, helping the club secure promotion to LALIGA EA SPORTS 24/25. The Madrid native finished as the division’s least-conceded goalkeeper and won the LALIGA HYPERMOTION Zamora Trophy after conceding just 26 goals in the 40 matches he played for the blue-and-white side.
Having come through the Atlético de Madrid youth academy, Diego Conde has also represented CD Navalcarnero and Getafe CF, and has been capped by Spain at youth level.
