The Galician, who signs for three years, returns to the Yellow Submarine after seven seasons away

Villarreal CF has reached an agreement with the footballer Denis Suárez, who will wear yellow for the next three seasons.

The player from Pontevedra will arrive in Vila-real on 6th July to undergo medical tests and will train under the orders of Quique Setién alongside his teammates on 8th July, in the first pre-season training session that will take place at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.

Denis Suárez: more talent for the Yellows midfield

Denis Suárez Fernández (Salceda de Casales, Pontevedra, January 6th 1994) is a talented midfielder with great technical ability, vision of the game, and accurate shooting, which make him a very complete player. Versatility is also one of Denis’ great strengths, as he can play on both wings, as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.

With his arrival at Villarreal, the Galician will experience his second spell as a groguet. Denis Suárez wore the Yellow Submarine shirt in the 2015/16 season when he played on loan from Sevilla, and he left a great memory with Yellows fans. That season, Denis played a total of 48 matches, scored 5 goals, provided 13 assists, and was a key player in helping Villarreal reach the Europa League semifinals – where he was the top assist provider in the competition – and secure fourth place in LaLiga.

At 29 years old, Denis Suárez has also represented Manchester City, FC Barcelona, Sevilla FC, Arsenal FC, RC Celta de Vigo, and RCD Espanyol, in addition to the Groguets.
