The young Valencian goalkeeper will continue in goal for Villarreal Women
Villarreal CF and Carmen Carbonell Gil (26/07/1999, Valencia) have reached a renewal agreement so that the young goalkeeper will continue in goal for Villarreal Women for the next two seasons. Carbonell will remain with the Yellows until 30th June 2025.
The goalkeeper, after gaining experience in the Villarreal Women B team, has made the definitive leap to the first team to prove her worth in the top flight of Spanish women’s football. In fact, Carmen Carbonell made her debut on 25th October against UDG Tenerife. Since that match, the goalkeeper has played a total of 1,629 minutes in 19 matches in La Liga F.
