The Valencian defender has extended his ties with Villarreal after making his first-team debut
Villarreal CF have reached an agreement to renew the contract of Carlos Romero, who will continue ties to the Yellows until June 2027. The Valencian defender, who started the season with Villarreal B, has extended his contract with the Yellows in a great moment for him, after having made his dream debut in the top flight.
Carlos Romero Serrano (Torrent, 29th October 2001) is a left-back with a great stamina and excellent ability to join the attack. He arrived at the Yellows Academy at U19 level from CF Torre Levante in 2019. Since then, he has played three seasons with Villarreal C and is now in his second season with Villarreal B competing in the second division.
The Valencian defender made his first-team debut on 17th September in Villarreal’s 2-1 win over UD Almería at the Estadio de la Cerámica. Since then, he has played in four more LALIGA EA Sports games and another in the Copa del Rey.
