Villarreal CF have reached a renewal agreement with the young and promising midfielder from Elche

Villarreal CF have reached an agreement with Carlos Maciá to extend his contract until June 2031. The young midfielder from Elche, whose previous deal ran until 2029, has signed a two-year extension with the Yellow Submarine.

Carlos Maciá Coves (Elche, 01/09/2008) is one of the brightest prospects in the Yellow Submarine’s academy. Still a youth player, the talented midfielder is currently involved in pre-season with the first team, having already made his senior debut last campaign while playing for Villarreal B and enjoying an outstanding season under David Albelda in Primera Federación.

Thanks to his excellent reading of the game and outstanding physical attributes, Maciá is a midfielder capable of bringing balance to the team, building play from deep and winning back possession in defensive situations. He is also a Spain youth international.
