The Canadian footballer joins the Yellow Submarine on loan for the rest of the season
Villarreal CF and FC Internazionale Milano have reached an agreement for the loan of Tajon Buchanan, who will play as a Yellow for the rest of the 2024/25 season. The loan agreement includes a purchase option.
The Canadian footballer, who has passed his medical under the supervision of ASISA. The club will confirm soon the date and time of his official presentation as a Yellow.
Tajon Trevor Buchanan (Brampton, Ontario, 8th February 1999) is a versatile footballer, who can play on both the right and left wink. He can also drop back and play at right-back.
The Canadian is a player with a great physical capability, and quick with the ball at his feet. A player who can trick defenders, who gets in goalscoring positions, and has ability to provide assists. Before playing for Inter, he was at Club Brugge in Belgium, where he won the league twice (five goals and 12 assists) and at New England Revolution (12 goals and 11 assists) in MLS in USA. In both clubs, he played 67 matches.
With the Nerazzurri he has been Serie A and Italian Super Cup, playing a total of 17 matches. Buchanan is also a Canada international, playing in the 2022 FIFA World Cup with this country. He has 44 caps and has scored four goals.
