The Uruguayan striker signs for the next five seasons and will join the B team from 1st July
Villarreal CF have officially signed Andrés Ferrari (03/01/2003) for the next five seasons. The Uruguayan striker has signed his contract with the Yellows and will join the Mini Submarine from 1st July. Ferrari will now return to Uruguay to continue playing for Defensor Sporting Club, the team where the player comes from and with whom the transfer has been agreed.
Ferrari is a versatile young striker, just 20 years old, who can also play as a winger. The striker has a total of nine goals this season; five in the Torneo Apertura and four in the Uruguayan Cup. In addition, he has scored five goals for the Uruguayan U20 national team during the course of this campaign.
