The Catalan player comes to Miralcamp to reinforce the right-back position of the B team
Adrià Altimira (Cardedeu, 28/03/2001) is now a Villarreal player. The Catalan right-back, also known as Alti, arrives at the José Manuel Llaneza Training Ground as a free agent after playing for FC Andorra for the last two seasons, having won promotion to LaLiga SmartBank alongside Villarreal B last summer. The 22-year-old will join the Mini Submarine at the start of pre-season.
Experience in the second tier
Adrià Altimira is an attacking and solid defensive right-back who came through the youth ranks at FC Barcelona, where he played his way up to the U19s (Juvenil A) team. He then moved to Croatia to play for NK Lomotiva and then had a brief spell with UD Melilla, before arriving in Andorra.
While there, he played a total of 2,539 minutes between the LaLiga SmartBank (36 matches) and the Copa del Rey (one match). In the second tier, he has provided three assists that helped FC Andorra win those matches and scored one goal.
