The forward has joined the Yellows on a two-year deal
Villarreal CF and forward Alexia Blanco have reached an agreement for the striker to strengthen Villarreal Women in attack for the upcoming two seasons. The young footballer’s previous club was CA Osasuna.
Strength and speed in attack
Alexia Blanco Llacuno (14/04/2000, Valladolid), also known as Alexia Jr., started her footballing journey with CD Parquesol B, becoming part of the first team in 2015 aged just 15. It was there were she first experienced the second tier of Spanish football for three seasons. She then played for Deportivo Alavés, experiencing promotion to the second tier, S.E. AEM Lleida, also experiencing promotion to the second division, and CA Osasuna.
Alexia Jr. is a quick, strong and technically strong player, and will offer a lot to Virgy García’s side.
Blanco is an international with Philippines, qualifying to represent the country as her mum was born in Capiz. She also finished second in the Spanish freestyle championship.
