Manuel Trigueros Muñoz (Talavera de la Reina, 17/10/1991) is a central midfielder with an exquisite first touch and excellent technical ability that enhances his vision of the game. He also possesses a complete passing game and can dictate the tempo of play, making him one of the best playmakers at the club.

The player from Castilla de la Mancha arrived at the Yellows Academy in 2010 from Real Murcia to play for Villarreal C. After a meteoric rise through the B teams, Trigueros made the jump to the first team in 2012, where he has played ever since.

The midfielder from Talavera is one of the footballers with the most appearances for Villarreal in its history, and is a true living legend at the club. He is one of the players who won the first UEFA Europa League title in the history of the club.
