Fer Niño, a predator in the box

The young Yellows striker is shining in the goalscoring facet for the Villarreal CF first team

A predator in the box. Fer Niño is one of the sensations for Villarreal CF this season. The young striker once more showed his quality against CD Tenerife, providing a piece of magic with a back-heel that sealed the Yellows’ place in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey. Another goal this season for the No.34, who now has seven in all competitions.

At just 20 years of age, the young forward, formed in the Yellows Academy, now has his sixth goal in the last eight games, and has scored in each of his last four matches. He is responding massively to the trust given to him by manager Unai Emery, and is the current third top scorer for the Submarine this season, behind only Gerard Moreno and Paco Alcácer.

An innate talent and a goalscoring instinct that is reflected in his numbers this season, where he has scored seven of his ten shots on target.
