The midfielder will play at the Basque team for the 2017/18 campaign
Villarreal CF and Deportivo Alavés have come to an agreement for the loan of midfielder Alfonso Pedraza. The U21 international player will play on loan for the side from Vitoria for the 2017/18 season. The agreement between both clubs does not include a buying stake for the Spanish footballer.
Alfonso Pedraza Sag (San Sebastián de los Ballesteros, Córdoba) came to Villarreal to play for the U16 and since that moment his rise through the ranks was swift. After starting the 2014/15 campaign with the U19 A team in the División de Honor, the Andalusian winger was moved up to the Villarreal C team and then, almost immediately, on to the Villarreal B team. In April 2015 he made his debut for the First Team against Valencia.
Last season, Alfonso Pedraza played on loan at CD Lugo in Spain’s Second Division A (23 matches, 6 goals and 8 assists) and at Leeds United in the English Championship (14 matches and 1 goal).
