The Yellows will represent Spain at the important continental competition, taking place in Hungary and Slovenia
Yeremy Pino and Fer Niño have been selected for the Spanish U21 squad ahead of the knockout stages of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Hungary and Slovenia. The Spanish side will face Croatia on Monday 31st May in the quarter-finals. The semi-finals will take place on 3rd June, while the final will be on 6th June.
The European Championship group stages took place at the end of March. The Spaniards finished top of Group B after a 3-0 victory over Slovenia and a 2-0 win against Czech Republic, before a 0-0 draw with Italy.
Defender Jorge Cuenca, on loan from Villarreal to UD Almería, is also part of Luis de la Fuente’s squad for this final part of the competition.
