The Venezuelan has renewed her contract with Villarreal Women
Villarreal CF and Yenifer Giménez Gamboa (03/05/1996, Barquisimeto, Venezuela) have reached a renewal agreement so that the Venezuelan player will continue to wear the yellow jersey for the next season. Giménez remains linked to Villarreal CF until 30th June 2024, with the option to extend her contract for another season.
The Venezuelan will celebrate her fourth season with the club. Yeni, so far, has accumulated a total of 59 games played ( four of them in Copa de la Reina), having become an important part of the Villarreal Women defence. In the 2022/23 season, the she played a total of 26 matches in the Finetwork Liga F, starting 23 of them. Defensively, last season, she made 139 recoveries and 49 interceptions.
