Villarreal CF now have a return date set to begin preparations for the 2026/27 season. The Yellow players will return to Vila-real on July 6, 7 and 8 to undergo the medical tests prior to the start of training.

The team’s first training session will take place on Thursday, July 9 (time to be confirmed) at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, already under the guidance of new head coach Iñigo Pérez.

First friendly confirmed

Villarreal CF have also confirmed their first pre-season fixture. The Yellows will face PSV on July 25, at 6.00pm, at the Philips Stadion in Eindhoven.
