The Yellows fell just short in the final against Atleti
Villarreal’s U12s (Alevín A) fell just short of the title at the eighth edition of the LaLiga FC Futures International Tournament held in Orlando (USA) after losing in the final to Atlético de Madrid (4-3).
Despite the defeat, the Yellows had an outstanding tournament. They started off with an impeccable group phase with two victories(against Real Madrid (3-0) and Hassania Agadir (9-0), followed by victories in the quarter-finals against Real Sociedad (2-0) and the semi-finals again against Real Madrid (1-1 before winning 3-1 on penalties).
In the final, despite a great performance from the Yellows, the Submarine were ultimately undone by a late comeback from Atlético de Madrid.
