The sponsorship project involves 30 clubs, 28 athletes and seven competitions in the province of Castellón
Villarreal CF have announced the participants of the Endavant Esports for the 2024/25 season. Through this initiative, the Submarine sponsors clubs, athletes and competitions in the province of Castellón, with the aim of promoting elite sport in the local area.
This season, the sponsorship programme organised by the Yellows will compose 30 clubs, 28 athletes and seven competitions in the province of Castellón. It has a budget of €300,000 and a reach of 8,650 athletes of all ages, who benefit from this project.
The clubs who have joined the project this season are Cocemfe Alt Maestrat (parasports), Club de Tenis Burriana (tennis), Club Muntanyisme Mur i Castell (mountaineering) and Club Triatló Vila-real (triathon). The new competitions are the Trofeo Víctor Cabedo (cycling) and the Mediterranean Epic Gran Fondo (cycling), while the new athletes that join the programme this season are Sergio García Dols (motorcycle racing), Jairo Noriega (boxing), Jorge Dávila (athletics), Marcos Bautista (athletics), Sergio Serrano (Cycling), Andrea Grañana (track cycling), Candela Lucendo (padel), Claudia Batalla (skating), Carlos Delgado (skating) and Naiara Vargas (skating).
The spirit of Endavant Esports is to contribute to the promotion and growth of sport in the province of Castellón, as part of the club’s social commitment to its environment, trying to give back to society and the province the support it receives. The project consists of financial and sporting support, as the club, as well as providing financial benefits to the members of the project, also offers its medical services, the use of the facilities and all the means at its disposal to promote the development of the sportsmen and women involved in the programme.

The, seven competitions in the province of Castellón that make up the programme are Penyagolosa Trails (trail running), Trofeo Víctor Cabedo (cycling), Mediterranean Epic Gran Fondo (cycling), Trofeu Pilota Villarreal CF (Valencian pilota), XVI Open Internacional de Taekwondo Ciudad de la Cerámica (taekwondo), IX triXilxes #sindrafting by Trilavall (triathlon) and Marató dels Dements (trail running).
Finally, this season, the following three athletes have retired: Pablo Herrera (beach volleyball), Lidón Muñoz (swimming) and Óscar Pelegrí (cycling). Three athletes who experienced great successes throughout their careers as part of the Endavant Esports programme.
