The Yellows Reserves have gone seven matches without losing after the draw vs Atlético Levante

The Villarreal B team picked up a hard-earned point away against Atlético Levante and remain on the doorstep of the play-off zone in the Second Division A. The Yellows Reserves took the lead through a sure headed goal by that man Carlitos López again, but they could not hold on to their lead and the game finished in a draw after Pepelu scored a free kick for Atlético Levante. Paco López’s side have now gone undefeated for seven games and there are only three games to go until the end of the season.

Both teams had a lot to play for; the Villarreal B team fighting to get into the play-off zone and Atlético Levante to get out of the relegation zone. The game was very even and both teams had enough goal scoring chances to take the three points, but in the end they had to settle for a point a piece.

The Villarreal B team’s next match is also away from home against Alcoyano, to be played on Sunday 30th April at 7pm CET.
