What is the best way to last weekend’s victory? With a visit from their idols! After beating Vila d’Onda (5-0), the Girls’ U9s (Benjamín Femenino) had a very special training session thanks to the unexpected visit of four players from the Villarreal Women’s first team: Elena de Toro, Nerea Pérez, María Cienfuegos and Fatou Kanteh.
The youngest members of the club enjoyed the experience. So much so that the laughter, dances, photographs and autographs were not the main feature of the meeting. It has to be said that the most remarkable thing was that the four players, who compete every weekend at the highest level in the Liga F Finetwork, wanted to participate in the entire training sessions
Laia, Izarbe, Claudia, Nuria, Vera, Lucía, Vega, Valeria, Ione and Paula share passing sessions, rondos and a mini-match with their team-mates. They also received some advice from the players, who encouraged them to continue learning and enjoying football in order to continue taking the name of Villarreal Women’s team to the top.
