The Yellows beat Athletic Club and RC Celta and drew against Rayo Vallecano
Villarreal CF’s U12s (Alevín A) got off to a good start in the XXXI Ascale LALIGA FC Futures National Tournament, sealing their place in the quarter-finals of the championship.
The Yellows earned a draw in their debut against Rayo Vallecano (1-1) thanks to a goal from Iker Vicent. In the afternoon, the Submarine picked up two valuable wins against Athletic Club (2-0) thanks to goals from Javi Martínez and Mario Granell, and against RC Celta with goals from Javi Martínez, Sergi Alcover, Iker Vicent and Enrique Blanquer. With these results, the Yellows ended Friday as co-leaders of Group B with seven points, level on points with Rayo Vallecano.
Villarreal will face Real Sociedad on Saturday, at 11:30am CEST, for the final match of the group stage.

The matches will be shown globally on LALIGA+, and LALIGA EA SPORTS’s YouTube, Facebook, X, Twitch and TikTok channels.
The competition system consists of 48 matches in total. The group stage, quarter-finals and 3rd and 4th place play will consist of 12 minutes per half, with a three-minute rest period. The semi-finals will last 15 minutes per half, with a five-minute rest period. And finally, the final will be 20 minutes per half with a ten-minute break.
