The Vila-real Trinquet will hold the semi-finals on 12th and 14th May and the grand final will be on Friday 19th May
Villarreal CF presented the 7th Villarreal CF Pilota Trophy this Friday at the Trinquet Salvador Sagols in Vila-real. First team player Raúl Albiol, Villarreal B player Carlos Romero and Villarreal Women player Lucía Gómez travelled to the local trinquet to support the celebration of this tournament, promoted by Villarreal CF with the collaboration of the Fundació de Pilota Valenciana, which is part of the Endavant Esports project.
At the Trinquet Salvador Sagols, as well as the footballers and the participating pilotaris, the vice-president of the Fundació de Pilota Valenciana, Pepe Soriano; the delegate of the Fundació de Pilota Valenciana de Castellón, Manolo Martín; and the councillor for sports, Javier Serralvo, were also present.
A trophy to enjoy in the middle of the Sant Pasqual festivities
The 7th Villarreal CF Pilota Trophy, played in the Escala i Corda modality, is being held in the middle of the Sant Pasqual festivities. The competition will begin on Friday 12th May with the first semi-final, starting at 6.30pm CEST, at the Vila-real Trinquet. The match will pit the trio of Puchol II, Álvaro Gimeno and Hilari against the team made up of Marc, Javi and Monrabal II.
The second semi-final will be played on Sunday 14th May at 6pm CEST on the same stage. On that day, De la Vega, Nacho and Bueno will face the trio of José Salvador, Pere and Carlos.
The Salvador Sagols Trinquet will also host the grand final on Friday 19th May, at 6:30pm CEST. The defining match for third and fourth place will take place a little earlier at 4:45pm CEST.
