Thousands of Yellows enjoy a special day in their honour at Villarreal’s home ground
A great party for all the groguets. Villarreal CF celebrated the Fan Fest this Saturday at the Estadio de la Cerámica in a massive day attended by thousands of Yellows. A unique day for all fans in which the XI Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí charity run also took place.
This great event had a spirit of solidarity, as the entire proceeds will go to ASPANION (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Valencian Community).
The big party was enlivened with live music and performances by groups from Villarreal such as Crancs and Los Indios. Villarreal CF also set up inflatables and organised games and activities for fans of all ages.
The XI Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí, a total success with 1,000 participants
One of the main attractions of the day was undoubtedly the celebration of the XI Cursa Solidària Celtic Submarí, which kicked off at 8pm from the heart of the Estadio de la Cerámica. More than a thousand runners completed the 6 kilometres of the race – which is part of the Circuit de Carreres Populars de Vila-real – before crossing the finish line, located on the pitch.
