Villarreal CF will face the best clubs from eLaLiga Santander on 3rd and 4th April in a prestigious cup tournament
The eSports season is entering its decisive final stage, and Villarreal CF are aspiring for everything. The Yellows have qualified for the eLaLiga Santander Cup, a prestigious tournament that will take place on 3rd and 4th April and will see the eight best clubs of the league season so far face each other.
Villarreal CF, made up of Alejandro Hidalgo (H1dalgo) and Adrián Cifuentes (AdrianCifuentes) are second in Group A, with 34 points, and an impressive 11 wins, one draw and three defeats to their name so far this season.
For this important date, the CVF eSports team will be represented by H1dalgo, who will try and win the cup for Villarreal CF. His first opponent will be adriidomenech, representing UD Logroñes, who he will face on Saturday 3rd April at 9pm CEST in the quarter-finals.
If he wins that round, the ‘groguet’ will play on Sunday 4th April, when the semi-finals will take place from 7pm CEST, and the final will take place at 10pm CEST.
As well as Villarreal, the teams taking part in the eLaLiga Santander Cup are the following: Sevilla FC (Pepeelbotellu), Real Valladolid (Neat), Levante UD (MaestroSquad), Real Zaragoza (Gravesen), Real Oviedo (Adriman), CF Fuenlabrada (DanielAguilar4) and UD Logroñés (Adriidomenech).
The grand final
After the celebration of the eLaLiga Santander Cup, the last three weeks of competition will take place ,where the 16 clubs who are finalists will move to the grand final, which will take place on 8th and 9th May, when the champion of the fourth season of the eLaLiga Santander will be crowned.
