The town will be the ninth stop of the Centenari Groguet tour
Villarreal CF, through the Centenari Groguet tour, continues to take football to every corner of the province of Castellón. On this occasion, l’Alcora will host the ninth round of the Copa Endavant 3×3, the fun tournament that will be played on Wednesday 10 May at El Saltador.
In total, 122 participants divided into 35 different teams will take part in a competition that consists of two categories: Groc, for those born between 2011 and 2013; and Blau, for those born between 2014 and 2016.
All players will receive a welcome pack just for participating. This includes, among other things, a special t-shirt with which they will play in the tournament. The winning teams will receive their well-deserved winners’ medals and will seal their place in the final of the tournament, which will be played at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
Villarreal will also be bringing a variety of games to l’Alcora to entertain the youngsters. The UEFA Europa League trophy won by the Submarine in the 2020/21 season will also be on display in l0Alcora for participants and their families to have their photos taken with the cup.
The tournament, already held in Segorbe, Almassora, Benicàssim, Nules, La Vall d’Uixó, Vinaròs, Vila-real and Burriana, will be attended by club legend and ambassador Marcos Senna.
