The tournament took place in the Fan Zone ahead of Villarreal’s match with Celta
The Copa Endavant enjoyed a very special edition this Sunday, held in Vila-real. The tournament took place in the Fan Zone of the Estadio de la Cerámica, in the lead up to Villarreal CF’s match against RC Celta.
The fun competition, the star activity of the ‘Centenari Groguet’ Tour, was attended by more than 140 participants, made up of a total of 40 teams between the two age groups in the competition. The tournament guaranteed fun for all participants, who received a special Groguet t-shirt for the competition, as well as a backpack with a welcome pack.
The winners were TBT in the Groc category and the 3 Musketeers in the Blau category. The champions received their respective medals from the Mayor of Vila-real, José Benlloch and the Councillor for Sports, Javier Serralvo, and sealed their place in the grand final, which will be held on 10th June just a few metres from this week’s stage. This time on the turf of the Estadio de la Cerámica.
In addition to the matches, Villarreal CF brought a wide variety of games, inflatables and activities to the Fan Zone to ensure that the little ones had fun. As if that wasn’t enough, the UEFA Europa League trophy, won in 2021 against Manchester United in Gdansk (Poland), was also on display in the Estadio de la Cerámica square for fans to take photos with. Legendary ex-footballer and club ambassador Marcos Senna also watched the tournament and greeted the various participants.
