The Nigerian attacker is the youngest player to play that number of games for the Yellows
Samu Chukwueze is now a 200-match Villarreal CF player. The Nigerian striker has reached 200 appearances for the Submarine after starting Thursday’s match against RCD Espanyol.
At just 23 years of age, Chukwueze has surpassed this impressive figure, becoming the youngest player in the club’s history to do so. In the current squad, only Manu Trigueros and Gerard Moreno have surpassed 200 appearances as a Yellow.
In his 200 games, Chukwueze has scored a total of 37 goals and ranks tenth in the all-time scoring charts. He has 148 LaLiga appearances, 20 in the Europa League, 14 in the Copa del Rey, nine in the Champions League and 9 in the Conference League.
